A Day off in Montreal

A five and a half hour bus ride yesterday from Toronto to Montreal provided the perfect moment to review my pictures of the tour so far – and indeed many of the European leg this summer which have never been posted online. As ever, it also provided an extended snooze. For whatever reason, travelling, whether by air, road or rail, is always incredibly tiring. Which seems absurd as all you do is sit down all day.

And today is a well-earned day off. Which has much the same effect. The moment you step off the treadmill, you suddenly notice how you addled you are. Did I mention that we are all feeling tired!!??

A few simple tasks to perform today: choose the next KC50 track and complete the voiceover, review a few contracts – and then this evening a pleasant stroll along St Pauls street in old Montreal where we spotted some likely restaurants last night.

Meanwhile here are some photographs of the shows in a beautiful old theatre in Washington...

and the Budweiser stage in Toronto – attended by 6,025 people, so possibly the largest King Crimson solo performance in North America (a record that will last only until the show at Radio City in NY).
